The movie star shared the big news via her Instagram page on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. “A Princely Arrival With thanksgiving and gratitude to our Heavenly Father, we are delighted to share with you the announcement of the birth of our second son whose arrival has immersed us with unspeakable joy,” she wrote.

“Indeed, the Lord has blessed us beyond measure and our hearts are filled with eternal gratitude. Glory be to His name. Stephanie & Linus.”

Stephanie and Linus are one of the most influential celebrity couples in the country.

History will not forget their flamboyant wedding ceremony that took place in Paris in 2012.

The wedding was attended by close friends, family and scores of movie stars.

The ceremony was officiated by popular Nigerian pastor, Johnson Suleman.

The couple welcomed their first child, Maxwell Enosata Linus, in 2015.

Actress Adunni Ade reveals how she was molested on set

Nollywood star actress, Adunni Ade has recounted her horrid sexual harassment experience on a film set.

The actress recently took to her Instagram LIVE chat with details of how a sound engineer on an undisclosed set harassed her.

Ade claimed the crew member tried to pin a microphone lapel to her dress but decided to push the lapel to her lower back, making for her underwear.

She said that while she tried not to create a scene, the crew member remained adamant about not harassing her. She further revealed that she got an apology from other crew members and discouraged from reporting to the relevant authorities.

Meanwhile, Adunni Ade is set to debut a brand new production titled ‘Soole’ and directed by Kayode Kasum.

The feature film which premieres November 26 also stars the actress, Sola Sobowale, Shawn Faqua, Lateef Adedimeji, Femi Jacobs among others.

Nollywood veteran Joke Silva celebrates 40 years in the film industry

Nigerian film industry veteran Ajoke Silva is celebrating four decades in the industry alongside her 60th birthday.

The screen and stage actress recently released stunning photos on Instagram to mark the milestone. She wrote:

“Numbers are very important to me, so this year as I turn 60, I also mark 40 years in the industry I love.”

The multiple award-winning actress has featured in over 100 productions since her career kicked off from stage. Joke landed her breakout role starring alongside Colin Firth and Nia Long in the British-Canadian film ‘The Secret Laughter of Women.’

In 2006 and 2008, the actress won the Best Actress in a Leading role and Best Actress in a Supporting role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA). She has also received multiple recognitions for her contribution to arts and culture.

Silva is also one of the few veterans who made a successful transition to what has been described as the ‘new Nollywood’ era.

Adunni Ade opens up on being blacklisted from Nollywood for 3 Years

In a recent Instagram live chat, the American/Nigerian actress recounted how hurt she felt during the period where she suddenly stopped getting roles from casting directors or producers.

“I was knocked off English part of Nollywood for a few years and it was at the time when my career should have been up there, getting recognized and getting awards that was recognized all over Africa and being part of projects that had grossed millions in the cinemas. Then from nowhere being pushed out of the scene. That hurts. It was for about three plus years. I am still not there but I am working my way back up. I found another strategy to get back up there,” Ade shared in a clip of the Instagram LIVE interview.

Recall the actress first opened up about being blacklisted from a part of the industry in an interview with Chude Jideonwo. She revealed that the blacklisting began right after her AMVCA nomination in 2017.
