BBNaija 7: Fake housemate Modella has been evicted

Big Brother had viewers holding their breath during the week’s Sunday live show after host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced a possible eviction of at least one housemate.

The housemate turned out to be one of Biggie’s fake housemate Modella. Hours to the live show, other fake housemates Deji, Chizzy and Rachel were instructed to not come forward if an announcement of a “fake housemate” is made.

Modella joined the show with Deji a month ago as a fake housemate. While their roles were not explicitly stated, Modella failed Big Brother’s first task. Recall that the housemate was instructed to cause some chaos in the Beauty and Groovy ship, a task she found too herculean to undertake.

Away from her failed task, Modella’s stay on the show got exciting towards its end with her “situation-ship” with Bryann. Modella also earned herself a role in a Showmax Original for winning the streamer’s task.

BBNaija 2021: Jaypaul and Jackie B have been evicted

This weekend’s live show has seen the eviction of Jaypaul and Jackie B. The housemates join 13 already evicted contestants of the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ season. Kicking off with a recap of the week’s activities and a brief chit-chat with the housemates, show host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced Jaypaul as the 14th housemate to exit Biggie’s house.

After another round of chit-chatting with housemates, Ebuka announced the eviction of Jackie B.

Coincidentally, both housemates got spared from last week’s king-size eviction after winning immunity by emerging heads of house during the week’s games.

Away from the seriousness of the evictions, a key highlight of the show was Ebuka discussing housemates entangled in situationships including Cross, Queen, Whitemoney, Jackie B, Angel and Yousef.

BBNaija 2021: Yerins, Niyi, Beatrice have been evicted

Sunday live eviction show kicked off with Big Brother’s unexpected plot twist of reintroducing four surprise new housemates.

As expected, Biggie’s surprise threw the housemates off balance but that did not stop the scheduled evictions.

The first housemate to be evicted was Yerins which going by viewer reaction was to be expected. Reacting to his eviction, the housemate who describes himself as a Polymath explained why he did not quite connect with some of the housemates.

Shockingly, Niyi followed next. In another surprising new twist, show host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced Beatrice as the third housemate to leave the show. On the reason for his early eviction, Niyi felt like his marital status played a huge part.

With the newly introduced housemates, the house is expected to be more intense than the past few weeks.
