Ubi Franklin’s baby mama, Sandra Iheuwa sent packing 5 months after marriage

Popular socialite, Sandra Iheuwa’s marriage to Steve Thompson has reportedly crashed.

According to Thompson, he could no longer manage the marriage because of Iheuwa’s behaviour.

In a series of posts shared via his Instagram Stories on Sunday, January 9, 2022, the businessman gave several reasons why their marriage crashed. “My marriage to Sandra can never work again because of her too much use of social media. She doesn’t care about the home. She is bragging about how she cooked three times,” he wrote.

He also disclosed how Iheuwa accused him of marrying her because she’s a Green cardholder.

Thompson said he had already thrown her stuff away from his house and warned the estate security guards not to allow her back to their home.

In another twist, there are reports that the marriage crashed over Thompson’s infidelity.

According to blogger, LIB, Thompson started cheating on Ihuewa upon their arrival from their honeymoon.

Thompson and Iheuwa tied the knot in a flamboyant wedding ceremony in 2021.

Ubi Franklin calls out some colleagues over silence following controversial death of Sylvester Oromoni

Music mogul Ubi Franklin has called out some of his celebrity friends who have remained silent over the death of Sylvester Oromoni. Oromoni was a student of Dowen College who died after allegedly suffering from injuries sustained after being attacked by his seniors.

In a series of tweets shared via his Twitter page on Friday, December 3, 2021, the father of four slammed those who have remained silent because of the identity of the owner of the school. “I know some of my colleagues or Abi some celebrities will not speak up about this “dowen college” Matter because one of our colleague is the owner of the school. I have been watching y’all pages and I know she is very close to you, yes you. Say something now,” he tweeted.

“She might see our rage on your page. We are talking about a 12 year old here, what if this boy were to be your son? This madness from schools need to STOP.”

However, several celebrities have taken to their social media pages to demand justice for the family of the late student.

Oromoni died after sustaining injuries following an alleged attack by seniors of the school.

He was admitted to a Lagos hospital on Friday, November 26, 2021, following the attack and confirmed dead on Tuesday.

The school has since been shut down by the Lagos State government.

Five years after leaving the label, Iyanya resigns with Ubi Franklin’s MMMG

On September 8, 2021, Nigerian star and recent appointee of the Cross River State government, Iyanya announce his realignment with Ubi Franklin and his label, Made Men Music Group [MMMG].

This comes after Iyanya, who exited the label in 2015 amidst several controversies, which peaked in 2019, has signed with MAVIN Records and Temple Music.

In a statement, the label says, “How time indeed flies, it has been 165.6M Secs, 2.8M minutes, 46K hours, 1916 days, 274 weeks, 63 months, 5 years since the resolution of the contract binding two resilient and hardworking parties that felt the need to give themselves time and grow independently.

“These parties having explored life differently in the same niche, various spheres and found a defining purpose to their missions have collectively decided to come as one body to reckon with.

“We appreciate the effort of friends, colleagues and well wishers for the years of believing in our craft, supporting our purpose and encouraging our mission. We also acknowledge the individual management over the past years and look forward to working as a large family.

In 2019, Franklin and his former artist, Iyanya had a public spat, which resulted in a media circus and Franklin appearing on Cool FM alongside Do2dtun to clear the air. While Iyanya was signed to MMMG, he became arguably the most sought after African act, releasing several hit records and two albums; Desire and Applaudise. He was also part of MMMG’s compilation album, The Evolution.

He has also released two EPs; Signature and For Your Love.
