Nigerian singer YQ hospitalized in the US

The music star took to his Instagram page on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, where he shared photos of himself in the hospital.

“Thank God the ambulance 🚑 and cop đŸ‘źđŸŸâ€â™€ïž showed up in less than 5 minutes. Can I get one đŸŒș now that am still here? Thank you đŸ™đŸœ I’ll be back soon. #thankful #grateful #survivor #OnGod,” he captioned the photos.

The singer did not disclose the reason behind the emergency trip to the hospital.

The music star tied the knot back in December 2020.

His wedding came months after he was reportedly thrown out of his house by his girlfriend.

YQ started his music career in 2002 when he formed a group called Q-krest. He started his solo career in 2007.

He has several hit songs to his credit including Efimile ft Dagrin, I Like Girls, Dresscode and Sandalili.

Chris Brown reportedly under investigation for beating a woman in his house

According to TMZ, the yet-to-be-identified lady revealed that the music star smacked the back of her head so hard her weave came off.

No arrests have been made but authorities confirmed to TMZ that police responded to his home over the alleged incident.

He was reportedly named a suspect in the police report.

The is the second time in two years that the music star will be under investigation.

It would be recalled that in 2019, the music star was arrested in Paris over a rape allegation.

A 24-year-old lady reported that she was raped by the music star at his hotel room in January 2019.

She reportedly told police that the pair met at a nightclub in central Paris, close to the Champs-Elysées, before they returned to the hotel.

Award-winning music producer and singer, ID Cabasa, has submitted Olamide has so much music in his repertoire to last a lifetime.

The Coded Tunes boss made this known hours after the release of Olamide’s ninth studio album, UY Scuti, on Friday, June 18, 2021.

In 2020, Olamide released his eighth body of work, Carpe Diem, a gorgeous body of work packed with balmy melodies and lyrics about overcoming low points.

Pharrell Williams Opens Private Schools For Children of Low Income Earners

Pharrell’s non-profit organization, Yellow, is expanding its education branch to include a handful of private schools in his homeland of Virginia that serve low-income pupils. He’ll open the first school in Norfolk, Virginia’s Ghent neighborhood, which is near to his hometown of Virginia Beach. Children in grades three through five will be able to enroll at the Yellow hab school. Tuition will be free for at least the first year with costs covered by charitable donations. ‘Friends’ star Matthew Perry splits from fiancĂ©e

According to People, the movie star said their relationship did not work out.

“Sometimes things just don’t work out and this is one of them,” Perry said, in a statement. “I wish Molly the best.”

The former couple started dating in dating in 2018 and got engaged in November 2020.

“I decided to get engaged. Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time,” Perry told PEOPLE in 2020.

Their split comes on the heels of the premiere of the highly anticipated Friends reunion, which saw Perry getting back together with his former costars from the hit NBC sitcom.

She broke down in tears as she called herself a ‘loser’ and ‘failure’ for not being able to keep her marriage. “He deserves someone that can go support his every move and go follow him all over the place and move to Wyoming,” she said.

In tears, Kim continued to say Kanye should “have a wife that supports his every move.”

The Divorce news first broke in February 2021.

This came weeks after speculations about their marriage collapse.

Buju: I want to make positive impact with my music

AFRO-FUSION artiste, Daniel Benson aka Buju has said his mission statement is to push the new generation into conversation on making good music.

According to the 22-year-old vocalist, he is one artiste who wants to be known for the impact he made via music.

“What sets me apart from other artistes is that I am conscious of whatever material I’m putting out. I am one artiste who wants to be known for the impact he made via music,” he said.

The Akwa-Ibom-born singer disclosed that he is influenced by the good works of talented artistes including Burna Boy, Drake, Buju Banton, Damian Marley, and J Hus amongst others.

“My love for music started from junior secondary school where I developed the skills of writing music and doing a few rap songs, later proceeding to joining the choir and doing solo performances at Valedictory services. Burna Boy, Wizkid Both Nominated For International Act category at the BET Awards

Both superstars got nominated in the Best International Act category. French singers, Aya Nakamura and Youssoupha; Tanzanian superstar, Diamond Platnumz; Brazilian act, Emicida; British acts, the rapper Headie One and the duo Yung T and Bugsey are all nominated in the category as well.

Burna Boy has won in the last two years and Wizkid won it in 2012, when the category had two divisions for Africa and the UK. Earlier in the year, Wizkid and Burna Boy won the Best Music Video and Best Global Music Album categories respectively at the 2021 Grammy Awards. In 2020, Wizkid also won the BET HER Award for ‘Brown Skin Girl.’

Wizkid and Burna Boy also featured together in Wizkid’s video for ‘Ginger,’ which dropped earlier in the year.
