2Face Idibia’s brother slams Annie Idibia, accuses her of using charm on him

Nigerian music star 2Face Idibia’s younger brother, Charles, has called out his brother’s wife over her recent social media meltdown.

The younger Idibia took to his Instagram page on Thursday, September 2, 2021, where he dragged the actress.

“You got married into a family of peace lovers …so peaceful that it’s actually an idibia family flaw as I have come to realise. Perhaps this has made you think that we must be fools, but trust me, we are not,” he wrote.

“You are bringing up a Disney trip that happen pre-covid19 simply because you somehow cannot totally have your way today like you are used to? Trying to paint your husband bad publicly( because he is a very private person )”

“Is your threat tool and means of gaining control? …and I thought you were smart, abi dey dealer gave you the wrong dose today? Asking your mum who lives in one of bedrooms to add more fire to the Juju pot is would have been a smarter move, but as God will have it, you choose today to expose yourself.”

He also revealed that their marriage has made his brother unhappy. “You better finish what you started this Night, because maybe, just maybe the public might just help us all. Inno is dying slowly, never seen a man so unhappy in real life, but we must all maintain ‘peace’ that has never existed from day one …fuck that shit! ..am done,” he added.

“The idibia family never gave you peace you say, please bring out all the wrong we did to you and post on your page pls, because I have a lot to say, and am going to say it regardless.”

Charles’ post came hours after Annie took to her Instagram page to call out his family.

‘Submission does not mean a woman must lower her voice’ – Kaffy

Nigerian choreographer Kafayat Shafau popularly known as Kaffy has shared her thoughts about submission in marriage.

The Guinness world record holder made her thoughts known via her Instagram page on Saturday, August 14, 2021, while reacting to a post about submission in marriages.

“The word “Submission”, if it were a human being, would have committed suicide because of the falsehood attached to how it’s name has been used. First of all the word does not mean one is a slave to another nor does it mean a woman must lower her voice, essence and purpose just because she is in the presence of a man,” she wrote.

“Submission here to me (my point of view) is more of being in agreement with the thought, purpose, assignment and essence a man carries as this would gravely affect the amount of selfless, sacrifice and trust a woman needs to have to become the Favour God has ordained her to be to the man.”

“And don’t forget every woman carrying Favour is a woman with a dream and essence and assignment too. She MUST only submit to one who would obtain what she carries in her that God wants to manifest into the world.”

“Man being a Lord, Custodian or asked to LOVE his wife also comes from a place of nurturing, developing, enduring, learning, and so many more Christ-like qualities. And not just emotional and financial provision. The world needs to be a better place and it takes people who understand their assignment and purpose on earth.”

China allows couples to have three children: State Media

China will allow couples to have three children after a census showed its population is rapidly ageing, state media said Monday, further unwinding four decades of strict family planning controls in the world’s most populous nation which have strangled the birthrate.

In 2016 China relaxed its controversial “one-child policy” — one of the world’s strictest family planning regulations — to a “two-child policy” due to widespread concerns over an ageing workforce and economic stagnation.

Despite government efforts to encourage couples to have children, China’s annual births have continued to plummet to a record low of 12 million in 2020, the National Bureau of Statistics said last month, as the cost of living rises and women increasingly make their own family planning choices.

The slump threatens a demographic crisis which has alarmed the ruling Communist Party headed by President Xi Jinping, booking in a shortage of young workers to drive an economy experts say will by 2050 will have to support hundreds of millions of elderly.

A Monday meeting of the elite Politburo leadership committee hosted by Xi announced a further loosening of the state’s control over the size of families.

“To actively respond to the ageing population … a couple can have three children,” state media Xinhua reported.

The Politburo meeting also promised “accompanying support measures” that are also “conducive to the country’s population structure”, though these were left unspecified.
