Now, if you’re new in Lagos or you’re a recently converted extrovert like me and you are probably confused about where to hangout/ ‘’Ball’’ with friends, here are some cool clubs and hangout spots on the Island and also on the mainland that you really should check out.

1. CLUB QUILOX
Club Quilox is a luxurious nightclub in Lagos with a Bar & Restaurant.
The club has very high standards that appeal to the creme de la creme of society. The club has stylish VIP and VVIP sections that are designed specifically to suit the taste of a classy person.
At Quilox, there is always something to do; Monday to Wednesdays are “Night Shift, Thursday Night is “Workman’s Compensation”, Friday Night is “Starry Nights”, Saturday Night is “Thriller Nights” and Sunday Night is “Sunday Nitro”. Every last Sunday of each month as the DJ spins tunes from lunchtime around 2 pm till dawn!!

2. SHAUNZ LOUNGE & KARAOKE BAR
Shaunz Lounge is one f the really cool spot for you to relax, unwind and also bring out the inner ‘Musician” in you. The karaoke bar is opened every day of the week with quality sound systems. The restaurants and bar sections are also top notch.

3. RHAPSODY’S
As one of the main night clubs on Lagos mainland, you are certain to enjoy your evening at the venue even with a very light pocket. They also have a lot of tasty dishes around there.
LOCATION: Ikeja City Mall, Ikeja Lagos.
4. NEW AFRIKA SHRINE
The new Afrika Shrine is home to the annual Felabration Music Festival. When it’s not time for Felabration, the shrine is an open entertainment center, you can chill with your friends, sipping some chilled drinks and munching on some spicy ‘asun’ and other side dishes without tearing your pockets.
However, When Femi Kuti is in the country, he plays on Tuesdays and Thursdays (rehearsals) and Fridays and Sundays (concerts) to a house full of people.

5. CUBANA PABLO
Cubana operates a restaurant as well as a club at night for high-end clients. It also offers great cocktails.
