BBNaija 2021: Sammie and Angel clash after she kissed new housemate Kayvee

There was drama in Biggie’s house on Monday night between Sammie and his love interest Angel clashed after she kissed new housemate, Kayvee.

Things between the two lovebirds went south after Angel kissed Kayvee during their truth or dare game.

Sammie didn’t find it funny as he made his disapproval known to his friends in the house.

“I should be jealous of course. She touched somebody. You don’t even know this guy from nowhere. He only came in yesterday. She should have touched Saga or Boma,” he said.

Things took a different turn after Angel confronted the Kaduna State-born filmmaker for slut-shaming her.

“Go for your Ideal woman. You have been slut-shaming me. I heard you.” she told him.

After a heated conversation that kept the other housemates awake, Angel told Cross and Yousef that she can be with anyone since they aren’t dating.

She also expressed her displeasure at the ladies who were laughing as Sammie allegedly slut-shamed her.

Big Brother introduces 4 new housemates

Biggie surprised fans and viewers of Nigeria’s most-watched reality TV show on Sunday, August 8, 2021, when he introduced new housemates.

The new housemates were introduced to the viewers in between the live eviction show.

Here are the five new surprise housemates.

Michael says he is bringing excitement to Biggie’s house. “I’m coming for all the tasks. I am not a good loser and would do anything to win,” he said.

Michael who is an artist says the housemates should be ready to feel all his good vibes.

28-year-old Kayvee is from Ogba in Lagos state. He is bringing his handsome face to the show…vain like that! He doesn’t like rude people. He says he is bringing vibes and positive energy to the house. The photographer says he is going to show the world his view.

Kwara State-born Jumoke says she loves to enjoy herself. She hates bad vibes. She says she is bringing positive energy to the house.

The Lawyer says she is going to do everything all the lawyers who have been to show didn’t bring to the show. She wants us to watch out for her dance moves.

Queen who hails from Akwa Ibom state says she is the complete package. She hates gossip and is a nice person. She says she can be good, bad and ugly.

The 26-year-old philanthropist says she loves sleeping naked and the housemates should be wary of her ‘bad mouth.’

BBNaija 2021: Yerins, Niyi, Beatrice have been evicted

Sunday live eviction show kicked off with Big Brother’s unexpected plot twist of reintroducing four surprise new housemates.

As expected, Biggie’s surprise threw the housemates off balance but that did not stop the scheduled evictions.

The first housemate to be evicted was Yerins which going by viewer reaction was to be expected. Reacting to his eviction, the housemate who describes himself as a Polymath explained why he did not quite connect with some of the housemates.

Shockingly, Niyi followed next. In another surprising new twist, show host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced Beatrice as the third housemate to leave the show. On the reason for his early eviction, Niyi felt like his marital status played a huge part.

With the newly introduced housemates, the house is expected to be more intense than the past few weeks.

‘I had an 8 digit job waiting for me but I chose to be a DJ’ – DJ Big N

Nigerian DJ Nonso Temisan Ajufo popularly known as DJ BigN has revealed that he forfeited an 8 figure job to be a DJ.

The Mavin Records in-house DJ made this known while answering questions from fans via his Instagram page on Thursday, August 5, 2021.

“Truthfully aside from family, I had an easy way out already. I had an 8 digit job waiting for me already. I chose to go this route. It’s the love for music,” he wrote.

“It’s the look on people’s faces after I have entertained them. It’s how music can change someone’s mood instantly. I needed to champion that.”

BigN is one of Nigeria’s most popular disc jockeys.

In 2020, during the fifth season of Nigeria’s most popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, he was rated as the best performing disc jockey for their Saturday night parties.

He has released several Mavin-themed mixtapes, including the “Mavin All Stars” mixtape, the ‘Surulere Mixtape Volume 1’, and the “ENERGY Mixtape“, among others.

He holds a first degree in Psychology from the University of Lagos and an MBA from Coventry University in England.

Big Brother Naija: Biggie reveals two house wildcards

Biggie has revealed who the wildcards are in the sixth edition of the Big Brother Reality show: Pere and Maria.

Biggie made the revelation in the course of the day on Thursday during a diary room session.

The two wildcards are fake housemates who will be allowed to compete for the reality show’s prize if not identified by other housemates this weekend.

Both Pere and Maria are aware of their personal status in the house, but are unaware of each others’ status.

Maria was particularly surprised to find out there was another Wildcard in the House during her conversation with Biggie in the Diary Room.

Upon being asked by Biggie if she knew who it was, she correctly guessed Pere.

She was bothered that she had to lie and maintain a front with the other Housemates but she was confident she pulled it off.

Pere was happy when told there is another wildcard and he guessed it was either Maria or Nini.…

#BBNaijaReunion: Tochi drags Ka3na, Lucy & Dorathy over food

Agreeably the most dramatic highlight of episode nine, Tochi had a go at Ka3na, Dorathy and Lucy over how he felt about their partial distribution of food in the house. Trust that with Ka3na the boss lady and Tochi, it never gets calmly resolved. The housemates screamed at each other for minutes of cliques, food and how they truly felt about each other during their time in the house. Dorathy and Lucy also got their fair share of the Tochi venom.

Once again, BrightO’s loose tongue got the spotlight for tattling with Tochi about how he felt Prince could not match Nengi’s financial needs.

Recall that in a bid to get back at Praise for mocking him in the house, BrightO led a conspiracy theory about Praise’s estranged fiancée’s age. This, according to Praise, led to fans invading her social media platforms. He then asked BrightO to publicly apologize to her, a request BrightO turned down as he claimed he did not owe anyone an apology.

It turns out Tolanibaj isn’t the only one with no regard for friendship as her accuser, Vee also took the guilty stand.

While explaining her reason for nominating Lilo for eviction, Vee stated that it was because she felt Lilo preferred to be in Eric’s arms than participate in the show. Seeing as she didn’t look like she wanted it bad enough, she felt okay voting against her.

#BBNaijaReunion: Erica & Laycon face off in new episode

Non-Erica fans have argued that a drunken and sober Erica share quite a lot in common while others insist it is how she likes to express herself. Depending on which side you choose, the actress’s reaction to events leading to her abrupt exit from the show proved a few points.

While subtly berating Laycon, Erica recounted how hurt she was when she stumbled on videos of Laycon’s interviews ( a busy schedule did not stop her from watching all his interviews).

Laycon had very little to say in his defense asides stating that he never watched any video of Erica apologizing plus he would rather be in conversations that promote his music.

The ladies of the Lockdown season have shown that they possess a rare and special ability to detect “bad vibes” from other housemates and this superhuman ability was once again blamed for the months of silence between Wathoni and Erica. While Erica blamed it on videos of Wathoni’s interviews discussing her sexcapades in the house, Wathoni accused Erica of fighting her over Kiddwaya.

Weighing in, Kiddwaya took mild jabs at Wathoni for constantly dragging him into whatever drama she had with other housemates. Thankfully, the ladies apologized for detecting wrong signals then hugged for good measure.

When show host Ebuka queried the ladies about their relationship post the house, they reaffirmed that they had no existing friendship outside the house and prefer to keep things as toxic as were.

For Vee, the feelings and wellbeing of her friend [Laycon] was more important to her than pursuing a friendship with both Erica and Tolanibaj. 

The show ended with wise words from Ebuka directed to the fans. According to the media personality, toxic fanbases only taint the reputation of the show which is primarily about entertainment.

BBNaijaReunion: Lucy, Kaisha come to blows in new episode

In case you missed the exciting catfight and some theatrical moments from Ka3na, never mind, we have got you covered. Here are the highlights:

The boss lady gave a lengthy and drama infused speech about why she chose to unfollow the housemates. She cited the fact that she did not stay long enough in the house to bond and was surprised to find out that a majority of the housemates did not like her personality.

Housemates Wathoni, Praise and Tochi felt differently and called Ka3na out for being possessive and unfollowing housemates she felt were cool with Nengi.

Going forward, throwing pillows might not be the best way for housemates to express their anger as clearly, some are not as well-mannered as Vee. Take Lucy for instance.

The night took a surprising turn when Kaisha threw a pillow at Lucy for addressing an incident involving her mother and Ka3na. The audience managed to witness Lucy deliver an energetic swing that landed squarely on Kaisha’s face before the scene was unceremoniously cut. No thanks to Kayode!

In and out of the house, Ka3na and Lucy appeared to have had an enviable bond. It turns out things went south quickly for the ladies. Amid tears, Ka3na explained that she ended the friendship because Lucy was showed signs of unloyalty by befriending Nengi.

Ka3na and Tochi got into a weird argument, probably one of the most confusing since the show kicked off, over Ka3na’s choice to unfollow the housemates. As much as we tried to make sense of it, we could only grasp that Tochi who repeatedly claimed not to be interested in Ka3na’s life, cared enough to follow her tweets.

BBNaija Reunion Update

The audience had Kaisha to thank for some of the episode’s action with her account of her situationship with Neo in the house. In case you missed it, check out the highlights:

Wathoni’s angle of her love triangles while in the house did not change much in this episode but got even muddier with the introduction of Kiddwaya. While the housemates swore they saw hints of attraction from Wathoni, she vehemently denied citing his playboy personality as a deterrent.

Things heated up, unexpectedly, between Tochi and Wathoni when she accused Kiddwaya of describing her as an ‘easy catch’ in a conversation with Tochi.

Between Kiddwaya and Nengi, all that happened in the house was their way of expressing friendship albeit alcohol made things a little murky like the bathroom corridor clip.

The infamous video of Nengi and Kiddwaya whispering by the bathroom with her zipper down raised eyebrows especially Ozo’s. When asked what he thought about the moment, he admitted he felt confused but chose to believe his crush. Neither Nengi nor Kiddwaya could remember much of what was whispered or how they got there. Safe to say that it must have been a cruel game by drunken Cupid.

Vee and Neo’s relationship got major blows last night following Kaisha’s surprising revelation that Neo made several moves at her in the house including a time he asked her to kiss him.

Things got a little intense between the two (enough for Kaisha to walk out of the set) as Neo vehemently denied making any moves at her. He did admit that she was attracted to him but he was more into Vee.

The former lovebirds were the first to really hit our awww buttons on the show. It turns out the romance ended shortly after their eviction no thanks to a comment Lilo made accusing Eric of ‘taking advantage of her’.

”I really like him” – Cee-c speaks on Leo Dasilva

For a while now, ex-BBNaija housemates, Cee-c on Leo has been sparking relationship rumours following their lovey dovey appearances at different events.

In an interview with Arise TV yesterday, when asked what the true position of things between herself and LeoCeec, she gave an insight into what they both share at the moment.

”I will be very honest with you. I think Leo is an amazing guy. He is actually a very great guy. You know we didn’t get to know ourselves in the house but right now what we are doing is that we are getting to know ouselves. He is a true friend I have decided to be there for regardless of the situation. You know me, I am a very loyal person. If I say it is you, then it is you. For me outside the house, Leo is the closest. I like him and I want to be there for him”. she said

On why she posted the acid attack threat mail she received, Ceec said her aim is to make people who aspire to participate in any reality TV show know that asides the freebies and recognition you would get when you participate in such shows, there is also the ugly side of it where people would talk down at you and even threaten you.

On her quarrel with her former love interest in the house, Tobi, Ceec said she was disappointed when she out of the house to find out that people whom she looked up to as role models, actually wrote an epistle condemning her, forgetting that when people are locked up in a place without any escape for their emotions and all, they are bound to make mistakes.

Efe, Winner Of 2017 BBNaija Donates Desks To Schools, Visits Open Heart Surgery Patients

Michael Ejeba aka Efe, the winner of the 2017 BBNaija season two, has donated desks to two primary schools and visited four children who underwent free open heart surgery in Jos.
The primary schools are: RCM Kabong Primary School and ECWA Primary School both in Jos, the Plateau capital.
The 25-year-old graduate of Economics from University Jos in separate messages took to his instagram @efemoney to reveal his donations and visit.
He said: “Today has been one of the most fulfilling days of my life. Had the opportunity to put smile on the faces of the kids in the city and community I grew up and call home, Jos.
“Donating classroom desks to two primary schools, RCM Kabong Primary School and ECWA Primary School. It was a rewarding experience giving back and inspiring the children and leaders of tomorrow.
“Thanks to everybody who made this happen. God bless.”
The ‘Based On Logistics’ hit maker who is also the Fundraising Ambassador for 1K1M Fundraising Campaign, visited four children that underwent free open heart surgery at Jos University Teaching Hospital.
He stated: “I visited the four kids who underwent the Free Open Heart Surgery at Jos University Teaching Hospital in Jos and they were all doing fine.
“This was made possible by your donations through the #1K1M Fundraising Campaign and the donations and contributions of other private individuals and organisations.
“I’m glad to be part of this as the Fundraising Ambassador and thank all those who contributed to this project; however this project should be sustained, as many kids with Congenital Heart Defects need your support.

Nina reveals she would be going back to school

Big Brother Naija finalist, Nina has just revealed that she would be going back to school on Monday being the 11th of June.

The ex-housemate who has been trending ever since she left the BBNaija TV show has been chasing the money ever since, trying to make a living out of her hair business she recently launched on her birthday on May 31st.

Now the reality star has now taken the advise of some Nigerians to go back to school and complete her studies at the Imo State University (IMSU)

Nina Set To Launch Her Hair Line As She Celebrates Her Birthday Today, Receives Lots Of Gifts From Her Fans (Photos)

Former big brother naija housemate,  Nina who becomes a year older today has  announced the launch of her brand, Nina’s Empire which is starting with Nina Hair and Lashes and revealed that it will expand as more ideas come in.

She revealed that the launch will also be a part of her birthday celebrations. She has started getting lots of gift from her fans. Yesterday a team of her fans delivered a customized 18 carat gold chain for her and Miracle, including other gifts.

Adesua Wellington And Alex Celebrate Children’s Day With Orphans

Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi-Wellington and former big brother Naija housemate, Alex Asogwa visited the Heritage Homes Orphanage, Lagos,on Children’s Day, and presented the kids with some gifts items.

Alex rocked a yellow T-shirt and a ripped blue denim trouser, while Adesua rocked a black long sleeve top and a grey denim trouser.

I Hold No Grudges Against Nina – Collins, Nina’s Boyfriend

Collins, boyfriend to Big Brother Naija 2018 housemate, Nina, has spoken on the recent rift between her and fellow housemate, Miracle.
Miracle and Nina had confessed love for each other in show but have been facing challenges after Ebuka, the show host, demanded to know the strength of their relationship.
Following the situation, Nina had feared she could lose both Miracle and Collins after the show.
And tweets have been coming out suggesting that Collins was angry with Nina.
But Collins, last night, cried out that someone had been impersonating him on twitter. He said he had no issues with his girlfriend, Nina.
The account, @uno_collins has for the past few days been slamming Nina on the platform.
Collins took to his Instagram to say he hold no grudges against Nina.
He wrote;
“Hello everybody…someone has been impersonating me on twitter…saying bad things about Nina…I bear no grudges for her.
This not me on Twitter… Its a fake account
