BBNaija 2021: Nini and Saga declare Boma an ‘Idiot’ for getting evicted

Housemates Nini and Saga have reacted to Boma’s Sunday eviction.

In a video clip currently making the rounds, the couple blamed Boma’s early eviction on how he treated co-housemate Queen.

“Boma didn’t judge her well, he f**ked up, she would’ve been good for him,” Saga said.

“Bad/Good for him [Boma], he is a f**king idiot. Thinking he wants to fool the girl” Nini replied.

Recall Boma exited the show alongside Tega, Michael and Peace in BBNaija’s first ever king size eviction.

The housemate emerged in the bottom six list with less than one percent (0.81%) of the fan votes.

Going by Twitter reaction, the housemate had earned the scorn of viewers for getting intimate with married housemate Tega. Both housemates trended for days after getting a little too intimate for the comfort of viewers.

It appears that Boma’s fallout with fan-favorite Angel also got him more negative reaction from the viewers.

Meanwhile Saga and Michael received their first strikes (the fifth strike issued this season) on Sunday for damaging Big Brother’s property. Biggie had announced a punishment if they missed the eviction.

BBNaija: Tega, Michael, Peace, Boma evicted in first-ever kingsize eviction

As promised, the latest Sunday night eviction left viewers shocked to their fingertips with the turn of events. For the first time in Big Brother Naija history, four housemates got kicked out in one night!

Show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu kicked off the night with the well not so surprising eviction of controversial married housemate Tega Dominic. In the brief chat following her eviction, the housemate claimed her rendezvous with co-housemate Boma was a well played script.

Prior to an impressive surprise performance by newbie singer Arya Starr, the eviction show saw the exit of Michael and Peace after Ebuka announced that Nini and Angel had been saved for the night.

Michael’s exit might be a sad one for fans, but the housemate had an impressive run, reportedly winning N4.7 million from tasks.

The fourth and final housemate to make their way out of the house turned out to be Tega’s co-actor, Boma. The housemates had incurred the wrath and judgement of fans throughout the week with how they carried on as a couple.

BBNaija 2021: Angel and Boma in nasty fight over kiss & tell allegations

The ‘Shine Ya Eye’ season recorded its first gbas gbos session after a few weeks on Thursday after Boma and Angel got to near blows and had to be separated by housemates. Things heated up quickly with the housemates over an argument of who spilled details of their executive lounge session from some weeks back. Angel had hinted on Boma being a kiss and tell.

Recall Boma and Angel enjoyed an exclusive time in the executive lounge where they shared a kiss and talked about their sexual preference. They also agreed to not share details of their moment with other housemates.

It appears one of the pair did the talking and that sparked some tension between them that rapidly escalated to name-calling and wigs flying. In the exchange, Boma fired some below the belt shots targeting Angel’s mental health and her family which enraged the 21-year-old.

The Boma versus Angel clash comes amid Boma trending for getting intimate with married housemate, Tega. Prior to his involvement with Tega, the 34-year-old had slept in Angel’s bed for a few days right after their time in the executive lounge.

Married ‘Shine Ya Eye’ housemate Tega is back in the news, this time for another in-house scandal that has got fans questioning her marital status.

In new videos currently making the rounds, Tega and Boma shared a few seconds of kissing with movements under the sheets suggesting hands got into unmentionable body parts.

The videos believed to be recent began trending hours amid Tega’s husband’s new Instagram post claiming he cheated on her 24 hours ago in their matrimonial home.

“First of all, I Love My Wife so much. However, I will like to state that our marriage is not perfect just like many other marriages out there. We are two imperfect people. The past 24 hours has been hell for us as a family. I have wronged my wife in so many ways but cheating on her was what broke the bond we had as a couple,” he wrote.

Recall Tega recently told Boma that she was prepared if her marriage crumbles after the show as she will be content with the fame the platform will afford her.

While Boma will officially be Tega’s first tryst in the house, she first raised eyebrows when she let fellow housemate Saga suck her breasts during a truth or dare game. The pair interestingly have what it takes to make a solid situation-ship in the house especially as Boma has claimed repeatedly that he is not interested in a relationship in the house.

BBNaija 2021: Uti Nwachukwu claims Maria was exploited by organizers

Popular media personality Uti Nwachukwu has hinted on a conspiracy leading to the shocking eviction of ‘Shine Ya Eye’ housemate Maria Benjamin. “This babe was milked dry! Made a wild card! The only week she was HOH she couldn’t do anything with it! She executed the secret task perfectly! No immunity reward! Before nominations she was punished heavily and the HOH was told they couldn’t save her! And now she’s out SHOCKER,” Nwachukwu tweeted.

As expected, Nwachukwu’s tweet sparked major reaction from supporters and non-supporters of the evicted housemate.

“It was an intentional act and that’s why biggie delayed giving Maria her Abeg Naira reward till this afternoon. He knew she wasn’t going to use it. He gave it to her to fulfil all righteousness. Mtchewwwwwwww,” a fan tweeted. Maria came in third place in the revealed bottom four polls with 13.73% votes from fans of the show.

Despite what organizers insist is a verifiable voting process, Maria’s eviction came as a shocker especially as she appeared to be one of the strongest contenders for the N90 million prize.

Recall Maria was nominated alongside Pere, Sammie, Queen, JMK and Cross in last week’s nominations. For the best part of the week, Maria grumbled about being nominated by housemates despite having had a fair advantage from the wild card veto nominations to winning Head of House.

The housemate, however, earned a strike for microphone infringement with weighty punishments including the stripping of immunity for two weeks.

BBNaija: Where are all the past winners?

The Big Brother Naija show has continued this year with the Shine Ya Eye edition.

Stars are expected to break out as usual from this edition, with the winner set to walk away with N90m.

There are still many weeks to go in this edition of Big Brother Naija, but as we continued to watch how things go, we want to recap the past winners of this great show.

The first edition of the reality TV show was won by Katung Aduwak and had Gideon Okeke and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu as housemates.

After winning the first edition of Big Brother Nigeria, Aduwak decided to acquire more training in filmmaking and production.

He returned to Nigeria to start working on music videos and TV series.

A few years ago, he had an accident that almost claimed his life but he survived and after treatment, he returned to work.

He’s one of the most prolific directors in Nigeria with his hands on some of the series and TV shows on Africa Magic.

The show held in South Africa this time with the the theme, ‘See Gobbe’. The franchise had housemates like Bisola, Kemen, TBoss, and Efe, who went on to win the edition.

Efe endeared himself to Nigerians for identifying with the famous city of Warri despite living in Jos and tales of his humble beginnings.

He won the season to take home the cash prize of N25m.

After the show, Efe decided to pursue a career in entertainment with music as his forte. He has since worked with top music acts that include Olamide, Iceprince and BOJ.

Efe is still a budding music act and yet to break even.

BBNaija 2021: JMK, Sammie & Maria have been evicted

The week’s eviction show got off to a quick start with little room for chit-chatting with the housemates. JMK was sadly the first housemate to be called up for eviction as according to show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Big Brother wanted to rattle the housemates.

The next housemate to exit the game was Sammie shortly after Ebuka’s twist to announce Queen had been saved for the week.

In another surprising twist, Ebuka announced Maria as the third and last housemate to be evicted from the game. Going by fan reaction, the housemate appeared to have garnered a loyal following over the past weeks hence her shocking exit.

BBNaija 2021: Liquorose reveals how BBN saved her from depression

In the wake of Kayvee’s premature exit from the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ season, housemates are impressively opening up about their personal mental struggles. The latest to share her story is new head of house, Liquorose. The professional dancer, in a chat with fellow housemates, revealed she battled depression for four months before getting the greenlight to participate in the new season.

Liquorose said she became depressed after someone suggested dance was not for her during an audition.

“I was depressed for four months before Big Brother,” Liquorose shared. “I went for audition and someone said to me ‘Rose, dance is not meant for you’ then I stopped going for auditions and was depressed for four months before Big Brother.”

Impressively, Liquorose emerged winner of the week’s HOH tasks earning her immunity and veto power for the week. Liquorose is also one of the highest winners of tasks since the show kicked off five weeks ago.

The Saga and Nini ship just might be on its way to becoming official despite Nini’s persistent talk about being in a relationship outside the house.

‘Shine Ya Eye’ housemate Saga has shared how he would have been the first in Big Brother Naija history to turn down a deputy head of house appointment.

Wednesday’s diary sessions saw the housemates express their feelings to Big Brother without any form of inhibition.

From the Pere versus Whitemoney clash to the shocking exit of co-housemate Kayvee, the housemates sessions were intense and chatty. During Maria’s session, the new HOH surprisingly spoke to Big Brother about the brewing triangle among Angel, Jackie B and new housemate, Michael.

Confiding in Biggie, Maria revealed she felt uncomfortable with Angel wielding her seductive ‘powers’ over the men in the house and in recent times, Michael.

“There is just this character thing about her [Angel]. Of course, you do know that Michael and Jackie B were like an item…Like she marked him from the moment he entered the house and now, Angel has used her powers to kinda like…,” Maria shared.

BBNaija 2021: KayVee breaks silence after withdrawal from reality TV show

Former housemate of Big Brother Naija season 6, Ololade Gbolahan popularly known as Kayvee has broken his silence after his abrupt withdrawal from the show.

The photographer turned reality TV star took to his Instagram page on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, where he released a press statement.

He thanked everyone who has shown support towards him since his withdrawal over mental health issues.

He, however, revealed that he is in a medical facility where he is working through the debilitating anxiety.

“Since my withdrawal from the house, I have reconnected with my family, and I am currently in a medical facility working through the debilitating anxiety I felt. I covet your love and prayers,” part of his statement read.

Kayvee withdrew from the reality TV show voluntarily following his struggle with mental health issues.

Maria has raised an alarm over the reduction of condoms in the house.

The former air hostess made her revelation known while speaking to Liquorose, Emmanuel and Nini in the Blue room.

She sensed that a number of the housemates were already having sex in the house.

BBNaija 2021: Kayvee withdraws from ‘Shine Ya Eye’ season

‘Shine Ya Eye’ housemate, Kayvee has withdrawn from the show barely two weeks after joining alongside JMK, Michael and Queen. According to reports, Kayvee was advised to withdraw from the game due to his recent struggle with mental health.

Confirming his exit, a statement on Big Brother Naija’s official Instagram reads: “Kayvee, one of the housemates in the Big Brother Naija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ Season, has been exited from the House on medical grounds.

“Prior to this, he had a consultation with Big Brother and the on-site medical team, where it was decided that he had to leave the house for a more thorough medical investigation. MultiChoice and the show producers, are committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all housemates in the Big Brother house at all times.”

Recall the housemates called Big Brother’s attention to Kayvee’s sudden display of behavior suggesting mental health challenges.

Reacting to the latest development, Kayvee’s social media handler requested fan support as the photographer figures his next move.

“The KayVee we know isn’t what people are painting him to be. His friends and family will never allow him to go into the house if he had a mental health issue. KayVee is big on mental health and positive vibes, and you could see that from when he entered the house,” the post read.

“What is happening in the house is simply a reaction to him being unwelcomed. He was full of life when he got into the house, and something has triggered this phase. This has caused him to withdraw into his shell to rebuild his energy and vibe…”

BBNaija 2021: Big Brother announces nomination free week, orders Maria to keep a secret

The show has gotten even more interesting with Big Brother’s game changing plot twist. As opposed to the anticipated nomination games, Biggie shocked Head of House Maria with a new order.

Shortly after nominating Boma as her deputy head of house, Maria was invited to the diary room and informed that there will be no evictions this Sunday. However, the Head of House has to sell a lie to the housemates convincing them that she will be tasked to use a scoring system to rank the housemates for the week. Two housemates who least impress her will be evicted come Sunday.

While the charade will last for the week, it is important to note that there will be no evictions or public voting this Sunday. Big Brother also warned of dire consequences if Maria reveals the plot twist to the housemates and a reward if she does not.

BBNaija 2021: Whitemoney found out I was the wild card from a chaperone – Pere

Pere has explained the reason for his seemingly irrational targeting of co-housemate Whitemoney.

During a conversation organized by HOH Maria to mediate the housemates following their heated argument, Pere accused Whitemoney of getting information that he was a wildcard from one of the show’s crew who acted as Whitemoney’s chaperone.

He explained that this influenced his beef with Whitemoney and led to last week’s strategic move.

This will not be the first time Pere has accused Whitemoney of being privy to exclusive information before the season commenced. He has repeatedly claimed to have proof of this ignoring the possible repercussions.

The housemates nearly got to fisticuffs early Tuesday morning after Pere pulled his belt during a confrontation with Whitemoney. Whitemoney and other housemates perceived his action to be an intimidation tactic.
