BBNaija 2021: I will give my wife a second chance – Tega’s husband on adultery saga

Husband of controversial BBNaija housemate Tega Dominic has cleared the air on events involving the housemate and her rendezvous while in the house.

In an exclusive interview with blogger, Tunde EdnutAJ Money revealed that contrary to Tega’s claims, they never reached an agreement permitting her to get intimate with male housemates.

“I am going to be honest, before she left for the big brother house, she said something like she was going to do everything but she was not going to have sex. I was like ‘I don’t understand. What do you mean like everything? C’mon, if you go in there and act anyhow, we are in Nigeria. If you act anyhow, people will vote you out and judge you. So if you are going there, represent us as a married woman.’ That was what I told her which she agreed with me. So I really don’t understand what I was seeing on TV. I was really broken.”

While admitting he was yet to speak to his wife since her Sunday eviction, the father of one shared that her display on the show was shocking as she had never showed signs of infidelity.

“We are very very responsible. Tega is a very good girl so I wonder why she just went there and did what she did…I feel broken like my ego has been tampered with. I can’t even leave my house ’cause there are a lot of stories on the streets.

“I am surprised and I didn’t believe that was my wife. Tega is a god-fearing woman. She has never for one day disobeyed me or even tried to…Mehn! This is a different Tega I am seeing.”

Reacting to questions on what the future holds for them? AJ Money shared that he has no plans of turning his back on his wife as this will be the first time she will be embroiled in such a mess.

“I know she knows what she did was very bad but she needs us more than ever. I don’t think

‘Work on yourself bro’ – OAP Daddy Freeze advises BBNaija’s Boma

The OAP made this known while reacting to the reality TV star’s apology post after his exit from the show.

“What I can’t get over is the gossiping, snitching and the kissing and telling. Work on yourself bro,” he wrote.

Freeze’s post came hours after Boma took to Twitter to apologize to Nigerians for his actions in the house.

It would be recalled that Boma and Angel got into an almost free for all fight in the house before his eviction.

Things heated up quickly with the housemates over an argument of who spilled details of their executive lounge session from some weeks back.

Angel had hinted at Boma being a kiss and tell.

Why I was in Abuja to see President Buhari — Gov. Umahi

The Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, has offered reasons for his visit to President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday.

The Governor offered the reasons in a chat with newsmen after the visit to the President on Monday at the Presidential Villa.

Unahi said he met with President Buhari to thank him for the “mega projects” his administration is implementing in the South East, adding that the people of the region are grateful to him.

He said: “One is to thank him very highly for a number of mega projects that he is doing in the South East. “The Second Niger bridge is fast and fast becoming a reality.

“Each time we visit that bridge, it is always like a dream.

“So, we the people of South East are very grateful to Mr. President for this.

“We also thank him for the award of this Eastern corridor of the railway line.

“This is a project that is going to fast track the commercial activities of our people.

“I recall that when I was in school, I used to join train from my state, Ebonyi, and then get up to Maiduguri, where my brothers were staying, for my holidays.

“Mr. President is about restoring that hope.

“We are deeply very grateful.

“But I also reminded Mr. President that one of his cardinal objectives is to integrate into the South East or the state capitals, but in putting together the project through South East that the capital of Ebonyi State, which is Abakaliki, and capital of Anambra State, which is Awka, were omitted.

“And I reminded Mr. President that the South East governors had requested that I write, which I did, but not yet approved to the Honorable Minister of Transport, which Mr. President said he will find out why they were omitted in the first place.

“I am very, very hopeful that Mr. President is going to give approval to those two locations.

“And also the limestone granules to fast track the fertilizer presidential initiative, which has helped the country Nigeria so much …

Sowore: Kidnapped victim confirms abductors were herdsmen

One of the victims of last Saturday’s kidnapping incident in Okada axis of Benin City, Edo State, during which Olajide Sowore, the younger brother to the convener of Revolution Now, Omoyele Sowore, was killed, Rev. Sister Emmanuella Anyanwu, has confirmed that their abductors and killers were herdsmen.

The victim spoke in an interview on Monday, three days after the incident in which five others were kidnapped.

Anyanwu, who narrated how she escaped from the kidnappers, confirmed that those who abducted her and four others later brought their cows to the camp where they were kept in the bush.

Anyanwu said that she escaped from the kidnappers when they were engrossed in a conversation with a man, who brought an object of interest to her abductors.

The 34-year old Anyanwu from the All Blessed of the Holy Spirit Convent in Ghana, explained that she was on her way to Imo State from Ghana and had stopped over in Lagos State, where she boarded a vehicle to her final destination, but was abducted by the herdsmen, who attacked their broken down commercial bus, in which the passengers slept overnight.

She explained that her abductors demanded for a ransom of N10 million, but she offered only N500,000, which infuriated the kidnappers.

Below is the full text of her interview:
“My name is Emmanuella Anyanwu, I am from Imo State. On Friday, we were coming from Lagos to the South-East and our vehicle broke down around Okada on the outskirts of Benin. We passed the night in the vehicle. At about 6.30am to 7am, some men came out from the bush shooting at us and we surrendered.

“They took our belongings including our phones and marched us into the bush. It took us almost two hours to get to their camp. They blindfolded us. So they started calling us one after the other and I was the last person they called. They asked me where I was coming from and where I was going. I told them that I was coming from Lagos and …

Former army sniper kills 4, including infant, in Florida shooting spree

A former sniper in the US military went on a shooting spree in central Florida, killing four people, including an infant boy in his mother’s arms, officials said Sunday.

The suspect, identified as 33-year-old Bryan Riley, shot and killed a 40-year-old man, a 33-year-old woman and her three-month-old son in a residential area in Polk County, Florida, said County Sheriff Grady Judd. The fourth victim was the child’s 62-year-old grandmother.

Riley, who was wearing full body armor, also wounded an 11-year-old girl before surrendering himself to the police following an intense gunfight, Judd said.

Riley, a veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, told the police he was a “survivalist” and that he had been taking methamphetamine.

The suspect also told the police, without elaborating, “You know why I did this,” according to a statement from Judd published on social media.

Riley was wounded in the gunfight and was rushed to a local hospital, where he again tried to attack police officers and had to be sedated.

After he received medical help, the suspect was transferred to a local jail.

It was not immediately clear what prompted the attack, Judd said. An investigation is underway.…

Anthony Joshua Wants To ‘Outskill’ Oleksandr Usyk – Says Eddie Hearn

Anthony Joshua wants to beat challenger Oleksandr Usyk with his technical skills rather than relying on his superior size when they meet in the headliner this month on September 25th at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, in London, England.

Joshua’s technical skills must be up to par for his fight with Usyk (18-0, 13 KOs) because the Ukrainian fighter is too talented for AJ to run over like a truck using his size alone to win. It may prove to be difficult for Joshua to ‘out-skill’ Usyk the way that Hearn wants him to because he’s always been technically flawed.

We’ve seen in the past that Joshua struggle with cardio issues when he’s tried for knockouts. He got away with gassing out against Dillian Whyte, Wladimir Klitschko and Alexander Povetkin.

In Joshua’s loss to Andy Ruiz Jr. in their first fight in June 2019, he was exhausted after hurting the American. Ruiz Jr. took advantage of it and dropped him.

Joshua (24-1, 22 KOs) is leaning down slightly, but not as much as some boxing fans think.

According to Hearn, Joshua (24-1, 22 KOs) will weigh close to the same amount he did for his second fight with Andy Ruiz Jr. in December 2019 and his last title defense against Kubrat Pulev in 2021.

Usyk Best-Skilled Fighter Joshua Has Faced

“Skill wise, he’s definitely the best fighter he’s faced,” said Eddie Hearn to about Usyk being the best technical fighter Joshua will have faced.

“I mean, he’s a pound-for-pound top five fighter. Powerwise in the division, he’s [Joshua] fought some big punchers. Dillian Whyte, Klitschko, Andy Ruiz as well and many others.

“[Kubrat] Pulev can punch as well. I don’t think Usyk carries the power of those guys, but he still carries power. It can be awkward this fight. It can be tricky.

“I don’t think Joshua buys into the ‘Too big, too strong.’ He doesn’t want to rely on his size in this fight. He wants to not only out-skill Usyk, but he wants to be able to compete with …

Moamar Gaddafi’s son Saadi released from prison 10 years after Libyan dictator’s downfall

The son of former Libyan dictator Moamar Gaddafi has been released from prison, one decade on from the uprising that toppled his father’s regime.

Saadi Gaddafi had been in detention in Libya’s capital, Tripoli, since 2014 following his extradition from neighbouring Niger.

Local media reported the younger Gaddafi was released after being acquitted of charges dating back to the uprising against his father’s rule.

At the time of the 2011 revolt, which was part of the broader Arab Spring movement, Saadi Gaddafi headed a special forces brigade that was involved in the crackdown on protesters and rebels.

Prime Minister-designate Abdul Hamid Dbeibah said in a Twitter post early on Monday that Saadi Gaddafi had been released in compliance with a previous court order.

Mohamed Hamouda, a spokesman for Libya’s transitional government, said Saadi Gaddafi walked free from Tripoli’s al-Hadaba prison, where many former regime officials are being held pending trial, mostly in connection with the crackdown on the 2011 uprising that toppled the longtime ruler and led to his killing.

Mr Hamouda did not elaborate on the circumstances of the release.

Saadi Gaddafi was smuggled across the desert to Niger in 2011 just as his father’s regime was crumbling.

But he was extradited in March 2014 after he, as well as colleagues who accompanied him, “failed to respect the conditions of his stay in Niger”, the West African nation’s government said at the time.

Following his release, he travelled to Turkey, according to the al-Marsad news website.

During his father’s rule, Saadi Gaddafi was known for his lavish lifestyle and he treated Libya’s soccer league as his personal fiefdom.

He played for several Libyan teams and for an Italian team until he failed a drug test. At various times, he headed Libya’s soccer federation and its national team.

In one case, security forces opened fire on fans at a 1996 match Saadi Gaddafi attended, killing a number of people in murky circumstances.

He is also suspected in the 2005 killing of …

OAP Nedu responds to ex-wife’s allegation, says he is not the father of their 1st child

On-Air personality Nedu has replied his ex-wife Uzor Ohiri over the domestic allegation levelled against him. In a post shared via his Instagram page on Saturday, September 4, 2021, the OAP accused Uzor of cheating and revealed that he isn’t the father of their first child.

“Our marriage was one filled with a lot of issues. One of which was continuous infidelity from her side that led to me conducting a paternity test on our kids which led to the revelation that our first son is not my biological son even though he was born within the period during which we were married,” he wrote.

“On the allegation of domestic violence, we have had this matter investigated twice, one the police station in Ajah and another by a competent court of law during the dissolution of our marriage.”

“Both times I was cleared of all allegations and I have the necessary proof to back up my claim. If anyone should be laying claims to domestic violence it should be me.”

He went on to appeal to his ex-wife to desist from washing their ‘dirty linens’ outside.

“I am appealing to my ex wife to remember our kids and to not continue on this path she has chosen as the Internet never forgets and they will one day grow up to deal with this mess she is hell bent on creating,” he added.

“I have no issues wit her and would like to continue to mind the business that pays me. If she has any issues to join me with me, she is free to file her complaints and approach any court of competent jurisdiction to pursue justice. Thanks.”

Nedu’s statement came hours after Uzor dragged him over domestic violence.

BBNaija 2021: Nini and Saga declare Boma an ‘Idiot’ for getting evicted

Housemates Nini and Saga have reacted to Boma’s Sunday eviction.

In a video clip currently making the rounds, the couple blamed Boma’s early eviction on how he treated co-housemate Queen.

“Boma didn’t judge her well, he f**ked up, she would’ve been good for him,” Saga said.

“Bad/Good for him [Boma], he is a f**king idiot. Thinking he wants to fool the girl” Nini replied.

Watch the video:

Recall Boma exited the show alongside Tega, Michael and Peace in BBNaija’s first ever king size eviction.

The housemate emerged in the bottom six list with less than one percent (0.81%) of the fan votes.

Going by Twitter reaction, the housemate had earned the scorn of viewers for getting intimate with married housemate Tega. Both housemates trended for days after getting a little too intimate for the comfort of viewers.

It appears that Boma’s fallout with fan-favorite Angel also got him more negative reaction from the viewers.

Meanwhile Saga and Michael received their first strikes (the fifth strike issued this season) on Sunday for damaging Big Brother’s property. Biggie had announced a punishment if they missed the eviction.

BBNaija: Tega, Michael, Peace, Boma evicted in first-ever kingsize eviction

As promised, the latest Sunday night eviction left viewers shocked to their fingertips with the turn of events. For the first time in Big Brother Naija history, four housemates got kicked out in one night!

Show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu kicked off the night with the well not so surprising eviction of controversial married housemate Tega Dominic. In the brief chat following her eviction, the housemate claimed her rendezvous with co-housemate Boma was a well played script.

Prior to an impressive surprise performance by newbie singer Arya Starr, the eviction show saw the exit of Michael and Peace after Ebuka announced that Nini and Angel had been saved for the night.

Michael’s exit might be a sad one for fans, but the housemate had an impressive run, reportedly winning N4.7 million from tasks.

The fourth and final housemate to make their way out of the house turned out to be Tega’s co-actor, Boma. The housemates had incurred the wrath and judgement of fans throughout the week with how they carried on as a couple.

Rema wrapped up the show with a stunning performance of two of his hit singles.

World Cup qualifier: Brazil, Argentina clash halted

Brazil’s World Cup qualifier against Argentina has been suspended after the Brazilian health authorities and police entered the field of play to detain four Argentinian players who failed to quarantine after entering the country.

In utterly surreal scenes, the game was halted on Sunday after 10 minutes following the incident.

Prior to kick off, Premier League quartet: Emiliano Martinez, Cristian Romero, Giovani Lo Celso and Emiliano Buendia, were investigated by the Brazilian authorities for a breach of coronavirus regulations.

It was alleged that they failed to declare that they had been in England prior to arriving in Brazil.

Following an investigation it seemed that the foursome were in the clear with Lo Celso and Romero both starting the game, while Martinez and Buendia were named on the bench.

However, in the opening exchanges, Brazilian health officials stormed the pitch in an attempt to detain the players.

Following close to an hour of stalemate, CONMEBOL finally released a statement on the matter, which read: “By decision of the match referee, the match organized by FIFA between Brazil and Argentina for the World Cup Qualifiers is suspended.

“The referee and the match commissioner will submit a report to the FIFA Disciplinary Committee, which will determine the steps to be followed. These procedures strictly adhere to current regulations.

“The World Cup Qualifiers is a FIFA competition. All decisions concerning its organization and development are the exclusive power of that institution.”

Soon after this press release was penned, Claudio Tapia, the president of the Argentine Football Association, issued his own statement.

“You cannot talk about any lie here because there is health legislation under which all South American tournaments are played. The health authorities of each country approved a protocol that we have been fully complying with,” it read.

“What happened today is unfortunate for football, it is a very bad image. Four people entered to interrupt the game to make a notification and CONMEBOL asked the players to go to the locker room.”

Head coach Lionel Scaloni added: “It should have been a …

ECOWAS, Nigeria condemns Guinea coup d’état

The Economic Community of West African States and the Nigerian Government have strongly condemned the coup d’état that took place in the Republic of Guinea Conakry on Sunday.

President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana and Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, condemned the action in separate statements.

They described the action as a clear violation of the ECOWAS Protocol on Democracy and Good Governance, demanding for the immediate return to constitutional order.

Akufo-Addo, who is also the Chair of the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government, said ECOWAS demanded the immediate and unconditional release of President Alpha Condé as well as others arrested. He said: “ECOWAS notes with great concern the recent political developments which occurred in Conakry, Republic of Guinea. She condemns with the greatest firmness this coup attempt on Sunday, September 5, 2021.

“ECOWAS demands respect for the physical integrity of the President of the Republic, the Professor Alpha Condé, and his immediate and unconditional release as well as that of all the personalities arrested

“ECOWAS reaffirms its disapproval of any unconstitutional political change. She asks the defense and security forces to remain in a posture Republican and expresses its solidarity with the Guinean people and Government.”

Onyeama stated: “The Government of Nigeria strongly condemns and rejects any unconstitutional change of government.

“And therefore calls on those behind this coup to restore constitutional order without delay and protect all lives and property.”

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that on Sunday evening, heavy gunfire exchange was reported near the Presidential Palace in Conakry, the country’s capital.

Following the gun battles, soldiers, who call themselves the National Committee for Reconciliation and Development, appeared on TV, claiming to have dissolved the Conde-led government, taking over power.

Conde’s third term Presidency had earlier sparked violent and mass protest in the country after a disputed election in October 2020 and a new constitution in March 2020, which allowed him to sidestep the country’s two-term limit.…
